It's taken a while and it's been a challenging ride with this song.. Heart of Gold was written shortly after my divorce and losing my guitar shop to fire, I was in a very dark place and didn't think I would make it out.. I left these words to remind my children that my memory will always live in their memories, and in their hearts of gold.
